Citadel Mall Shooting

We didn't know what had happened.
Hubby and I went to the Citadel Mall yesterday around 4:30PM.
The whole area behind Belk was taped off and we saw that Live 5 news was there. Hubby and I figured it was either a shooting or, well, a shooting.
Who knew that in broad daylight a drug bust took place behind one of the more swankier stores in the Lowcountry.

I remember when the whole of Citadel Mall was swanky. 15 years ago when we were here for our honeymoon, we walked around the Citadel Mall but couldn't really afford to shop there.
What has happened to the place?
Was the placement of a Target store on one end the downfall of the Citadel? If you ever go that way on a Saturday night, you would know the answer to that would be 'yes'!

Will I be frightened by the incident and not go there anymore?
No.
I live my life, if the fates have it planned for me to go in a shooting, then nothing I do will stop it.
I am a cancer survivor, I know better than most that life is to be lived, not feared.

I hope the undercover policeman who shot the drug dealer gets a marksman medal not a reprimand, public or otherwise.
