With a hurricane on its way I have but one question...

Where the hell is Jim Cantore?

Wherever he is that is where the hurricane will be.

He was in Wilmington, NC twice in 1996. Once for Hurricane Bertha the first week of July and again for Hurricane Fran which hit Sept 5 taking a similar track as Bertha and causing $3 billion in damage. Hurricane Fran was the strongest hurricane to direct hit the coast of NC since Hurricane Hazel in 1954.

So, someone find out where Jim Cantore will be!!!

In the meantime, we Lee is already in meetings for the hurricane. These people have no idea if he is in a meeting he can't get any of the work done! Plastic wrapping computers backing up servers, that can't be done in a conference room!

For myself, I suppose I will go out and get more batteries and another case of water. If the hurricane gets closer to us, I will fill the bathtubs up with water as well and bring in my plants. Fortunately I have plenty of candles and I will pick up some charcoal for the big grill out we will have if our deep freeze starts melting!

That is about all I can do in an apartment!

No matter what hits us, we will not behave as those people further south. I just know it.
